Who's this Marcus guy?![]()
See, Doug?
Looks like you're only getting to see it when it is ready. Guess those great LOG LE BG mockups, including all the options and bridge spacings, drained that MarKus guy and he's hiding now!

is anybody else even a slight bit bummed out that Adam Clayton didnt use a lakland even once in the 5 nights on letterman?
OK, I'm not completely insane... I was just remembering the wrong thing... that was from the Grammy's. However, that wasn't a Lakland either. Man, the past couple weeks are a blur.

Okay, MarKus! I'm asking
would you please be so graceful as to grant me and Doug the image of the 55-07 CS, active with passive tone control*** , translucent burgundy over standard body, ebony fretted without marks, even though I reckon I'm not worthy...
_______
***guess whose bass inspired this part
After a couple of months of just not feeling right I am once again all Lakland
Here my new Indo-Plek'd JO5.
All the basses I've owned in my life, I've never had a bass that plays so effortlessly. Action is incredible with NO buzz.

Hey all
Just got my 2008 44-02 from Fitbass3p.
Need to get used to the thin neck and bright pickups but im digging the huge range of sounds on this fine instrument.

Fantastic news! That's great that he was able to come home early.NICE!!!!! I know what you mean. My new DJ isn't Indo-Plek'd, but it IS Kor-Plek'd, and it plays like a dream.
On a separate, although equally great, note.... Stuart finally got to come home from the NICU today. Apparently, it's pretty rare that they ever let a sub-36 week baby out, but he was really itching to see daddy's Laklands![]()
It's pretty awesome to have him home, and it's also VERY cool to have him out of the NICU, since it was costing us almost a US Lakie a day to have him in there (yep, self pay small business employees here). Regardless, we are blessed and couldn't be happier to have him. Who knows, maybe by the end of the week I can actually pick up a bass again![]()
