Hmmm... I could've swore he was playing a Lakland hollow body the night I saw... the bridge looked like an oval. I was half asleep though, so I might be wrong.

OK, I'm not completely insane... I was just remembering the wrong thing... that was from the Grammy's. However, that wasn't a Lakland either. Man, the past couple weeks are a blur.

It was a little misunderstanding I think. I had talked to Dan about ordering a Joe Osborn. It's a stock BG.

YES!! And I DO believe in destiny, fate, whatever.... me and S.C. will be together for a LOOOOONG time!!

It's unreal!! Unlimited options tonewise! I've been a one tone per instrument, zero knob tweaks kinda guy for the whole 20 years I've played. S.C. has already changed that. Solo the neck pup for a P-bass-ish tone, solo the bridge for a Stingray, both pups on in humbuck mode=EARTHQUAKE. Flip the switch to single coil and the bass becomes a jazz on 'roids, and of course the different pups can be solo'd.

Oh, and then there's the LH-3 which I haven't even began to use. If I'd gotten the passive tone knob, I think my head woulda exploded from option overload. Carl said I wouldn't need it, and FOR ME (I know Markus loves his) I must agree.

Can't wait to try this with my big rig tomorrow, it was overdriving my little B-DEC today. Those pups are BEASTS!! They oughta work well w/ my distortions and fuzzes.

Ah yes...I know the feeling. I was exactly the same way...I never touched my knobs, but my 4-07 really changed it...I even play with my jazz knobs now The passive tone control is cool. I don't really need it, but it does work in active mode too, so it does as some on the fly flexibility...but really I just think it looks cool
