i'm just dreaming about a new lakland -07, that's all. at least when it takes me a few months to save up enough for the deposit, i will have time to think of a good way to sneak it around the woman or be extra nice so she says she doesnt' care as long as i'm paying my bills, lol!
i think i will definitely pick up the -07 before a human base 5 string...i just really like the way the human base sounds and i'm hoping that it has a tighter B string than on the musicmans...that's the other reason i got the sterling in a gimped config.

lol well i finally noticed his pm and maybe i will do a skyline -07 style bass if they will do it for me...i can take care of paying that one within a month easily.
Are you talking about a Skyline or a US bass? With a US bass, you can pay a deposit to start.
I don't know the percentage, because I haven't bought a US bass. Perhaps our "speed posters", Doug or Markus, will slow down long enough to try and answer this question.
