Roger Jeannie at Jeannie's pickguards.....check out his e-bay store or: http://home.comcast.net/~pickguards/

not a great site but call him or e-mail him...

PS - if you are/become a supporting LOG member you can get a discount....

How do i become a supporting member of LOG?

The UK distributor has gone quiet on me getting a pickguard, maybe I should ask dan lakin for one. He mentioned sending me one when i ordered the bass but never seen or heard anythign since!! lol

lol...don't have a mm shirt, but i would do that...no prob.

i really wouldn't mind getting this pickup for a glaub or a Lakland P...

i think it would be quite nice sounding.

maybe add one of these at the bridge for a neat tonal range...

go to: Link Removed and sign up......there are two options "basic" and "supporting" member. only "supporting" members get the discount and Roger does ship....he does GREAT work!

I've heard good things about Delano pickups in general, but I've never actually heard a bass with one.

Now - that is JUST wrong.....wrong I tell you!

lol didn't see this post...i guess you're right...i shouldn't sour the Lakland name by putting it on such an obviously inferior product. especially one that is missing a string, no less. :o

I just talked to Leo and Dave (US shop) about my DJs. We adjusted the orders a little bit due to a miscommunication. I'll update at the LOG site...

sadly enough, i can't get to the LOG site, either...which is pretty crappy, imo. ah well.

I would have Lakland do it and the install of the CHI...they know what they are doing better than anyone!!!

you may want to talk to Carl directly....:ninja:

YES. And BTW, Carl is biased toward his OWN fretwork over the PLEK. Can't blame him, that's his thing afterall. He touched up S.C.'s frets to get them all level and set her up with very close action w/ new strings, all for just a few bucks more than some sets of strings cost. 'Course my pup/pre purchase/install was costly, so I may have been given a break on the strings/setup, dunno.

She was buzzy, but I play like an ape. It took 3-4 truss loosens over a couple of weeks, while the neck adjusted to TN humidity/temp changes, to get her down to my preferred level of buzz.

well......actually, I thought about it but did not do it (conciously) so I felt kinda bad when you "called me" on it....

I WILL say that I am happy we can use the three letter "G" word (GOD) here and not get edited because of it (like I was on a former/no longer in existance Bass forum).....

Hey, I have no problem respecting anybody else's preferences/beliefs. So, I expect the same treatment. Anything less would be un-PC right? :)
