ya'll need help!!!....16 threads of Lakland goodness and now 8 pages in less than 24 hours? ....you's some busy posters...and we're just now getting pics back in the thread....MORE PICS PLEASE!

I'm hoping to have some pics of something cool to post in the next day or so....:hyper:

I need to get all the stickers glued on it and varnished over first, then I have an old SX Pickguard I'm going to screw onto it. It's for a 4 string P-Bass, and it might not fit just right but I can probably route/sand some of the body so that it doesn't show. That should hold me until I de-fret it and get it relic'd. :hiding:

Tech support would be very frustrating for me:-) Do you drink a lot?

I really only design web pages about a 3rd of the time. Mostly print stuff, and packaging these days...

i should be drinking more, you would think, but no...i play games when i get home and don't do anything else, lol. web design would be something fun for me anyway...something different. tech support is just the same crap regurgitated into different piles every day, every week. i know i can do it, though, so it's easy for me to get a job doing it...and the pay isn't so bad.

what does lakland require to get an order in? can you just do a deposit and then pay the rest over time? what is the initial amount required, percent-wise?
Are you talking about a Skyline or a US bass? With a US bass, you can pay a deposit to start.

I don't know the percentage, because I haven't bought a US bass. Perhaps our "speed posters", Doug or Markus, will slow down long enough to try and answer this question.:eyebrow: :D

PS - you relic that and I'll personally relic you!

i have played and owned both, the neck is a bit thinner on the decade,
and sound of the decade is awesome, you can get a great thick p'ish tone from the neck pickup. if your into slapping it could be tricky with the neck pickup so close to the neck, you have to pop in back of the pickup, sounds great though. the bridge pickup is growl for days. and with both pickups on you get almost a phased effect like the scheff.

of course i am talking about the single coil passive decade though.

dude i'm sold. hahaha :D thanks so much!
