Official Lakland Owner's Group (#17)

I did some blind test listening (my wife played them for me) to the sound samples from the Lakland site. I know - lots of variables that can make the final sound between guitar & pc speakers, etc. But...if you toss that out - for what it's worth - I ended up with the Joe Osborn 4 with single Chi's. It looks cool too. Has anybody (silly quetion in this group probably) tried the same but 5-string? Already planning my second and haven't even received my first. Something in the water around here?

OK - so I am going to be off line until early next week....headed to Iowa for my in-law's 60th wedding anniversary.....

be kind to me while I am gone or watch out!!!! you do not want the "return wave" to be any longer than it has to be ...do you!!!?????

PS - playing Blondie at my in-law's church on Sunday - Hope they are ready!!! (it is a small home-town type church)....she may overpower the organ!!!!

I, for one, have a US JO5CS that is remarkable!!!!

come on teh 23rd and you can play it (still trying to tempt you!!!)

I may be partial, but you can never go wrong with a JO 4

I have a DJ w/Chi's & while it's totally awesome, great with stock pups too!

But on the other hand, there's something very special about the Bart loaded hollowbodies.

Very impressive & distinct meaty tones they produce absolutely kills!

That said, you can't go wrong with either, personally I'd try and find a Bart loaded hollowbody.

Hundreds?!:D I'm sure they'd sell a few. Man, I've said it before, but those Chi'd ACs do look fantastic.
