Think of it as the everlasting gobstopper of tone. Rawsome!

Once you get your hand on them, you'll be saying:

Hell To The Yeah!

Hell to the YEAH!!

Nothing wrong w/that user name. Beer and VW's (if the VR6 is a VW reference) are good things.

Little late to the reply, but yes, VR6 is a VW reference :) HAD an 00 tropic orange GTI. Very fun car, and an Ampeg 810 would fit in the back. How do I know? Because I carted the 810 and svt 3pro head to guitar center to sell them to pay for a suspension back in 01 :( Then I sold the GTI in 03. Hence wanting to lose the VR6 tag. Now I have a 99 M3, my Lakland, Ibanez, a wonderful fiancee with two kids who says I can buy another Ampeg when playing music is making me money :bassist: Problem is a bass player usually need equipment to be in a band to play shows to make money :scowl:

I know I need an amp, but now I'm debating a 55-01 or 5 string Joe Osborne... still want a Sadowsky too. I need to win the lottery.

Nice! I'm a BMW man meself! Like just about any German car though. Growing up and living three miles from Laguna Seca did it to me:-)

Yet another dream.... get my car out to Laguna Seca for a track day and attend an ALMS race there.

Those are NICE!!! The blue one would be damn sexy if it has a matching headstock too.

So what's the deal with Chi's? I figured out by reading that they're pick-ups and not a straightening iron my fiancee wants. Think switching out the bridge pick-up on the 44-02 with a chi would really beef it up? Speaking of the -02, for those that have them, what settings do you usually go with? I have yet to dial in the "perfect" one after these few years. I continue to play with the settings but still love the bass.

Oh, and it's bimmer, not beemer ;) Beemer is a motorcycle :)

Yeah...really fun out at the track. My dad was an official there while I was growing up, so I went to every race. In my blood now!

My dream is to pick up the new M3 at the factory, and drive Nurburgring.
