Looks pretty nice @Ringhammer. I originally thought about it myself, but have grown pretty comfortable with the lunchbox look. BTW how much did that cost you?
Like it. Looking into the orange, Orange version. What's that slot in front of the handle?
I have to imagine that the Terror Head no longer fits in the supplied carry bag? It is pretty cool though. Where does one obtain that case, and is there a cover available for it?

Is the TB500 EQ the same as the AD200B?
I seem to recall it's the same front end/ pre amp?
So I've heard. The AD200 has 2x 12AX7 and a 12AT7. The TB500 only has one 12AX7 and one 12AT7, so doesn't that make it different?
I have both and they don't necessarily sound the same, but, I use my AD200 with an OBC115 and sometimes an OBC210 on top. The TB500 with the 2 OBC112's is a far cry behind in overall volume. But, that may have a lot to do with the cabinets. I suppose someday I'll try the TB500 with the 115 and 210 and see.
The AD200 is just awesome and as long as I can I'll move it I'll be using it.

I've owned both the OBC115's and OBC112's and the 115's are definitely louder by a by a wide margin and also sound nicer to me, but the 112's still sound good and have enough volume to get the job done. You should definitely try the TB through the 115 and 210 to get a better comparison with the AD200.
BTW I gigged the OBC112's yesterday with my 4 Stroke 300 for the first time and that was really an awesome match. I can honestly say that I prefer the TB through the 115's and the 4 Stroke through the 112's. The 4 Stroke is extremely versatile and can take the 112's to a direction that the TB simply can't.
Those with a pair of OBC112, what can I expect from having a second cab other than increased volume? Running the Little Bass Thing now.

Highly noticeable? Coming from 1x15 from my previous 2 amps, and the last one was a 1x12. Never had more than 1 cab previously, so I was thinking whether I should get another OBC112 for full 500W, or it is worth looking at OBC410 at 250W (and I was informed that it is louder even at the same 250W with single OBC112). Already spared the cash for another OBC112, but new stock won't reach the local GC until this October.
I don't see myself bringing the OBC410 out of my practice space due to the weight. A pair of OBC112 is 70% of OBC410's price here, wondering if it's worth saving up a bit more for that or be happy with another OBC112 which I already like even as a single unit.

It depends on how much power the amp makes at 8 and 4 ohms. The specs say 500W at 4 ohms, but 8 ohms is not specified.
When you add a matching cab, the sensitivity goes up approximately 3dB. The connection with most amps is parallel, so the impedance is cut in half and the combined power handling is double.
If the power stays the same, adding the matching cab gives you approximately +3dB, which is barely noticeable.
If the power doubles, adding the matching cab gives you approximately +6dB.
If the power goes up, but does not double you get between +3dB and +6dB.
Unfortunately I don't believe Orange publishes the sensitivity ratings for these cabs. Without the necessary specs, I can't run numbers to estimate how a pair of 112s should compare to the 8 ohm 410. If a single 112 is usually loud enough, it would probably be a good bet to get a matching cab.
Appreciate this! Sounds like in terms of sensitivity, it won't make a big difference. What about the EQ, since you mentioned "a bit fuller low end"? With a single OBC112, I have enough volume at almost all of the places I usually play, and anything bigger it will go through the PA instead, therefore volume is not really my concern at the moment.
