Official Orange Club II

I just recieved the custom head case I had casesmith customs build for me. Matched the tolex perfectly. It is about 1.5" wider than the obc212 but I like it!

The BAX looks really cool I'm not sure about it for bass? but all of the guitar demos sound good

on the orange forums a few of the guys said it's even better on bass than it is for Guitar. I'm going to get one and a tube power amp and run them together with an OBC115 till i can afford an OR120 again ( used to have one, got broke sold it). The BAX pre is similar to the OR tone stack (BAX as well) just missing the FAC control which i'm hoping i can dial in those mids and lows with that pre.

anyways, the guys are raving about how amp like the preamp sounds like there are no diodes clipping it's a proper "amp" so to speak they say not a overdrive pedal (like the orange peel or Tech 21 Oxford) acting like a preamp. I'm jonesing to try it as I prefer the older OR120 tone to the AD200 (also owned).

That should be a nice setup and I can't understand why Orange wouldn't put out a bass demo?

That BAX looks cool. Doesn't say what the frequencies the mid can sweep to though. And to have access to more responsive tone controls than their heads, that's a winner for me. The added gain control, if it's an OD type of deal, makes for a very useful box.

I was lucky enough to have recently picked up a Fishman Dual Parametric, primarily to get a device where I could create a sweepable mid. I just didn't care for the Empress Para EQ. (I'm probably the only one though.)
