Good call. Well the deal fell through. I don't feel like spending 1300 on a new one. I'm going to keep an eye on the usual used places. Hoping a used one shows up at GC somewhere. That way if it doesn't work out I could return it.
Just purchased Terror Bass v2 head and OBC 115 cab and it's wicked . I run the Terror Bass with volume at 75 percent and use the gain as overall volume . Rich deep yet articulate tubey goodness with a good slight breakup and it gets impressively LOUD .
Next to push it in a band setting . Can I have a club number please ?

So, what's the consensus on the vibrations in the OBC112? I've read a couple of posts report vibrations/rattling issues when cranking it due to lack of bracing?
My interests peaked in a single or couple of OBC112 because of my weekly trek to rehearsal (stairway climb with a tight turn). I've gave up hauling the OBC410 because it is a bear on those stairs and the OBC115 is starting to wear me out as well. Though I'm a bit on the fence selling the OBC410 because I like the full rig Orange setup and this is my 4th Orange AD200B rig. I just keep gravitating to it and live I prefer two OBC115 or OBC115/OBC410 combo under the AD200B.
Any who, I'm thinking about a couple of OBC112 or maybe a pair of SVT210AV to stack under the AD200B. However, after reading the OBC112 vibration issue I'm wondering if I should hold off or did Orange resolve the issue?

i haven't had any issues iwth my terror bass v2 cranked with the obc112. i think it was a first version issue with the obc112, just buy new and you're golden.
It was a couple of TB users and another forum but I wouldn't assume to buy new and good. Many dealers have nos hanging around and sometimes you never know what you get (unless it is officially addressed). I didn't just show up to the party

i purchased it july 20 2022 from sweetwater. i'm not sure if it was made in 2021 or 2022. i got sweetwater to throw in the Cover for free and do a little price drop, i paid 535 (before tax, shipping was free). they go for 549 new and cover is 35 bucks. i'm not a big sweetwater guy (mostly because i buy as much Used as i can to save money) but i was very happy with the transaction. Also if you are worried about the bracing, buy from a big reputable seller like that with a good return policy in case you get a bum one.
Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THE SVT210AV; they have zero low end response to them at decent volume! Trashy, cheap cabinets (and I don't slag off products lightly; I get that user experience can differ. But these... wow!) that shouldn't be used for anything other than bedroom level volumes. At least they look cool? I had a pair for a couple years, so suffered through their poor performance long enough to know that they aren't worth your time.
The SVT212AVs on the other hand, absolute things of glory! I don't understand how Ampeg could have got one of them so, so wrong, and the other so right! Anyhow, if you are thinking of putting something besides Orange under that AD200, the 212AV is a great shout IMHO.
Good to know. I 100% agree on the SVT212AV cabs. I've owned two of those and a V4B RI. Really nice sounding cabs. However, those are just a bulky as the OBC115. Which personally I don't think the OBC115 is bulky or the SVT212AV but these dang stairs are a plaguing me! I actually play at a pretty low volume in that rehearsal situation so I know a 1x12 will be enough for that exact situation. That said, I don't like to buy things that can't go beyond the bedroom (if that makes any sense). The OBC112 seems like a good fit if it can hang when cranked without any additional noise or vibrations.
As for the SVT210... @JimmyM and a couple of others seem decently happy with them. I personally have never messed with them but figured it might be doable.

The Bassman 115s sound great with an AD200B too
Man that sounds like a situation where I'd just buy an old used cab to leave at the rehearsal room. Unless it's one of those rental rooms other bands use.

OBC112 should be not a problem, the frame is sturdy enough. I have only test experience, since I don't have one myself.

Sound-wise, it's not a problem for me, they don't start to rattle or something. BUT I had the Terror Bass vibrate off a stack of OBC112 first time I pushed them in a band setting (loud alternative rock / metal). Since then, I put a towel between top cab and Terror Bass and haven't had any issues, even when diming both Gain and Volume.
With an AD200, you'll be fine. Too heavy to vibrate off the stack. For comparison, the Terror Bass weighs in at 4.5 kg / 10 lbs. The AD200 is about 6x that.
Edit: Had the same vibrating-off issue when running my Terror Bass through a GK 410 that our guitar player's secondary band uses. So, it's more of a Terror Bass issue than an OBC112 issue, in my eyes.
Correct; the Terror definitely wants to go for a walk on top of certain cabs! For me, it took stuffing mine in a custom head case with even bigger rubber feet, in order to stop it from taking any unexpected tolex journeys.

Should work. Both cabs are 8 ohm, so most heads can handle a 4 ohm load. You might end up overpowering the Rumble. But probably not. Might be a mismatch but might not. Worth a shot and you may find the Ampeg works better for you overall by itself.
