Official Orange Club II

I've been using my AD200b with a single SVT112AV. Sounds great at medium to low-volume jams and recording. I too, wonder if the OBC115 would be a "better" pairing, but the weight of that cab is a turnoff to me.

I totaly agree with you about the weight of these cabs with the stock speakers. But after replacing them with some Eminence Deltalite 2515's, it has made them MUCH more manageable and they sound great!

So you have more than one OBC115 and you changed from the original 15” Eminence Kappa that they come with Eminence DeltaLite in both cab? Any chance you did an A/B comparison in sound?

Looked at the specs and replacing the kappa 15 with the delta lite 2515 would save a whopping 12 pounds. From 65 pounds to 53. You’re right that’s a big difference.

Placing casters on one of the OBC115's makes a huge difference in moving them around as well.

You can't see the casters due to the light bar, but they are there.

Does anyone have experience with their AD200 and an Ampeg SVT-410HE? I’m going into a studio in a week and he has one there for me to use if I want. Plus, I have 4 Eminence SC10-16’s that I’m selling, but also thinking of getting my hands on an SVT410HE and putting these in it, since the HE is a sealed cabinet, maybe these drivers would do well in it as well as lightening the load.

I’ve been gigging my Terror Bass and OBC-112’s since I got them, and have no desire for anything else. However, I’ve been going direct at church, and haven’t been completely happy with my sound. Today, I took the TB head and used it for a preamp.

Occasionally, someone asks about using the head without a speaker load. That’s what I did this morning, and, as before, it was great. It’s a bit klunky to use as a preamp, I mean, it’s bigger and heavier than my whole pedalboard, but it sure sounds great.

If my serial number on my AD200B MK3 is

04844-0719 is there any chance ithe 0719 is a date reference? If so it could be from either July 2019 or January 9th 2007?

Sadly there's no serial tracking on Oranges website. But let us know what you find out!

D-Class without a load is no problem and a great way to get excellent recording or FOH sounds.

I bet that rig kills! Love my Mercalli 5 into my TB500 with OBC112s. I can only imagine it’s even better into the AD200B with the 15s.

Thanks! It does sound pretty freaking awesome! ( that pic was from my practice the other night ). Can't wait to stretch her legs at our show this weekend. All the stages at my previous shows weren't big enough to accommodate her LOL.
I bet your Mercalli slams through your Orange rig as well!
