This thing sounds amazing! I just replaced my M-Pulse with a TB500 and an SP212. I think I'm gonna add a second SP212 in the near future, just to push more air... :bassist:

I have a few questions if you Orange owners wouldnt mind answering them. I have been gassing for an AD200 for YEARS!!!!! Next year I plan to make it happen.

1) what are the differences between the AD200 mkI, mkII, mkIII?

2) Is there a vintage Orange Bass head out there other than the super rare Orange superbass that goes for like $5k if you can even find one? (my guitarist emailed me a link to one in the UK at a dealer...2500euro!!!! 1970)

3) is it trye that alot of bassists used to use the OR120?

4) the terror bass 1000.......yes i know its not tube but does it have enough of the signature Orange sound in it that you know its an Orange? I was considering it as a backup after getting an AD200.

AD200B MK 1 was hand-wired and MK 2 is like MK3 I believe. But MK1 and MK2 only had like 200? models made. I have a MK3 and it's amazing and the best sounding amp I've played through.

I've never heard of the orange super bass...I swear If you give me a lot of GAS...

I have heard of the OR120 and OR160 and have seen bass players use them. Look up some videos.

I do know Orange split from Matamp and the designs are similar except all of Matamps stuff is hand-wired. I think a brand new AD200B isn't far in price from a Hand wired Matamp... You should take a look at Matamp's stuff as well as the vintage Orange stuff.

Hope I helped you,

Also if I understand from my reading MKI and II were hand wired with a total of either 100 units between the two or 100 units each. I forget.
