Haha and like me and Fenders, I just counted 10 as I had to change my status in the how many basses...thread from 20 to 21.

As to my Tune it's identical to the pics fruitlabor's put up of the flame maple top on the last page. Sadly the previous owner drilled some thumbrest holes in a useless location that mars the finish. At some point I'll try to fill and color match them.

Every year I hope for a Christmas card from Mr P but Scotland's a long way from Meridian:)

What a shame about the thumb rest holes. Folks do the strangest things,previous owner of my Maniac was going to re-finish,started by sanding out the body logo:jawdrop:
Then there's the "X" carved between the neck screws.

Hey Kodiakblair, you've added to your collection since I last talked to you. lol! I was off Talkbass for a bit, life unfortunately intruded. Nice collection you've got there.
To remain on topic, yes, I still have my Korean Tune and there's something very distinctive about these Tune basses (Japanese or Korean), I really don't see myself trading or selling it. I've had 90 basses in the past 3 years from trading/flipping/selling, the Tune bass survived through it all, now down to 8 basses.

lol...I think I'm going to stick with the basses I have....for now. The basses were part of a hobby of hunting down and flipping basses, a number of them, I never had an intention of keeping but were basses that I found inexpensively and could put the proceeds or trade for other preferred basses. It was a paperclip experiment that worked out well for quite a while considering it all started with one gift certificate. It was fun to try out all the basses and find out what qualities I look for in a bass.
The Tune was a keeper because there really isn't anything else quite like it, it has some of the preferred elements (for me anyway) of a lot of different makes and models but all in one particular bass. I really like the overall feel of it.
