I’m in need of a GZP-2 preamp as the one I currently have is faulty. It’s a buddy’s of mine who notice it cutting in and out during his church service. First thought was it could be a faulty input jack but I’ve since changed it for him and still nothing now! Please advise as to how to acquire one. I’m currently in the USA

Is anyone selling an MIJ. I’m looking around. To order from Japan and to have to deal with custom’s on top of shipping etc… it just makes the bass too expensive. Though there is one from Bass Japan direct that seems priced right. Anyway thought it was worth asking. Thanks

Unless someone in the US is selling at the exact point you are looking, these are pretty rare here. Only option is to order from Japan.

Good luck. The preamp failed in my Bass Maniac, and I had no luck getting a replacement. Ended up switching to passive pickups and rewiring the whole thing.
It does not sound the same, but it sounds good!
This just came from Japan… it’s simple, I dig it. Not going to be my last purchase from Japan. Lots of nice stuff for reasonable money. Anyway…
