also the track again wasnt this hissy (it was a bit but not as much as after the upload. so give the settings a try. even the saved track is not this hissy something about the upload is compressing the dynamic or something and its not as full so its coming out more intensely high bright if that makes sense. but i would use this live. in listening to it as the track plays in APP its much closer than the others i have done so it is getting dialed in for sure.

Export the track to iTunes as WAV and upload it to SC from there.

The recorder on Jamup is very easy to use but very limited. One of the weak points on the Amplitube recorder is lack of control over the recording export parameters such as on MT DAW

I know I should get mtdaw but I already have so many multitrack iOS and Mac daws already I was hoping to have audiobus capabilities for one of those but I may hold my breath to long and pass out :D I already have (mac)Logic Studio 9, Protools 9HD, GarageBand, (ios) GarageBand iOS, Amplitube iOS. I was hoping to just buy audiobus....it's killing me to not be able to join in on the mtdaw/audiobus madness :)

I sure need to do anything else in jamup.
The hiss of the amp sims in AT is making me insane. No wonder when people have the iRig they throw it in there gig at and never return to it. With the irig it was overpowering without turning up the amps, but even with a better interface the higher you push the gain on the amps and pedals hiss is introduced by the APP, to sound more like a real mic'ed cab. And the hiss changes as you switch from one cab to another. Like these sounds: shhhhhhhhhhhh........fffffffffffffffffffffff.........sssssssssss
Why would they do that???????

You are using both the tube screamer and the fuzz! No wonder you have lots of hiss on AT. The VT bass is just an Ampeg emulator, try the black distortion with the B15 or the Møller with the B15. You can also try the Ampeg CL instead of the B15 as it have much more drive/ oomph ;)

Due to several reasons I feel that it is be better if we rename the Portaflex soundcloud to:
The Virtual Official Ampeg Portaflex Bass group
One reason is that I've felt that IK multimedia never gave us any sign of acknowledgement for creating the group. I've never heard anything from them about our new group, no negative or positive comments.
In addition there are two very well made B15 models out there, the B15R from Amplitube and the B15 1964/1966 model on Jamup.
I think it is actually better to have both included in the soundcloud group. It will give more people an opportunity to post a clip in the group. We will have nicer overview of what is possible to do with a virtual portaflex amp, and some competition between the amps will be nice.

Hope nobody is getting miffed about this. As said we have two great B15 amps in iOS and both should be included! :)

A little challenge to Calvin and Brian!!!
Now that both of you can post a clip in the Virtual Portaflex SC group, lets see what you can show us!!!
It is about time you guys show us some tricks and clips!!! Up until now we have showed you the "path", but time for you to show us something!!! :) ;)

I used the tube screamer to get the overdrive of the entire signal but then it makes the signal to "highs" heavy but after the compression, the fuzz brought in the grit on the mids and brought back the lows. The CL maxed did give the sound easier but since the thread was in the portaflex name I tried to get it before the cab and then use the tonal qualities of the amp head to finish the tone. The two 12 cab I used brought back the dynamic in the mids. It was a huge combination of all these things that were bringing the vt tone as close as I could at the time. My next time will be in jamup with the blueline. The portaflex head just doesn't grit up enough in AT so I tried the black distortion but it really took out the lows more than the green overdrive pedal. That's why I went with the green. The eq pedal was to get the certain presence of certain frequencies that I could hear in the video.

B15R + Moller and the CL cab. Put the gain on the Moller on 70-80% and blend under 25%
