"But Fender is the Cadillac of guitars."
And how many cadillacs do you see on the road? Tell them you got the mercedes or BMW instead.

Anyone who can't see the difference between a Läkland Duck Dunn and a Fender Precision Bass, even from the back of the audience, doesn't have an opinion that's worth losing any sleep over, IMHO.
FWIW, despite my user nameninja
, I'd sooner own a USA Läkland Dunn than any Fender P Bass in current production, as I've got a preference for Jazz Bass necks and block inlays (unlike Fender
)!

Well, of course you do, Jimmy. Look where you live--that's what retirees drive.i see a s-load of cadillacs on the road.
Fender snobs are obnoxious.

No kidding...as if a Fender is something to be snobby about.
Oh, and only another TB member is going to recognize the MothMan bass.![]()
A couple years ago I was at GC with my Mike Lull M5V (5-string Jazz) trying out some amps/cabs... The salesman walks up to me and says, "Hey, if you want to trade that in I can give you a good deal on a real Fender."
I decided to take the high road and just responded with, "Oh, thanks Bro but this one's just fine."
