I bit the bullet and dropped the $330 to get my new combo amp... I've really gotta stop spending cash... lol. Rocktron Rampage 100w 1x15 combo. Can't wait to try it out. I won't be able to make it to 5th Ave. on the 22nd, I'll be stuck at work wishing I got a friday off for a change.

Why on earth would you want to come back to Findlay from Oregon???? I've been to Oregon, and I'm trying to figure out how to get back!!!!

+1... nothing against Ohio, but I, too, have been to Oregon a couple times and I love it more than anywhere else I've ever been (all over the U.S. and most of Ontario, Canada)

Columbus area: Cringe, MonkeyNut
Toledo: Lollipop Lust Kill
Youngstown: Coinmonster
Akron: Almost Human, Dolly Trauma
St. Clairsville area: Distraught's Son, Dogwood Tree, Sativa, Groovus Nixon

Just wondering, for curiosity's sake. These are some of the bands I've been into or shared stages with over the last 10 years. Anyone else here familiar with these bands?

The bassist for monkey nut came over to my house for a party we had. His friend introduced us and we were in front of my computer most of the night listening to music. I schooled him in some hardcore bands he'd never heard of.

If anyone cares there will be a Ric gathering in Cleveland the weekend of June 21st. I've been to a few of these before elsewhere and there is always an impressive collection of rare/cool basses (obviously primarily Rics) that show up. Here's a link for some more info.
