I'd honestly buy a mim p bass and mod the heck out of it. Then use the rest of the money to get a nice rig

Fine, I'll buy a more expensive jack. Still within budget. Was just looking at StewMac parts prices.I'm surprised not one person said hookers. Sad
You spend all that money on the wood and other components yet you cheap out on the jack, the one component without which any electric instrument is just a useless hunk of wood or plastic with a bunch of other stuff attached/inside.

Well, I could save money and get less expensive hardware and pickups and so on, but... it's imaginary money that someone handed to me!That sounds awesome and I totally agree...
However that has to be the most exspensive Warmoth build I have heard off.
I can build my average for about 1k and that is with top parts.
