...Luckily I don't need to do it often, as almost every gig I do has a backline provided. I can always make two trips.
Two trips from your home might be okay but when you arrive at the gig, you have to leave part of your equipment unattended in the car or at the gig while you make another trip.
I still think a Schroeder mini 12+ and a mini 10 plus a GB Shuttle 6 might be the way to go. Carry one in each hand with your bass gig bag on your back. Anyone have experience using these two cabs? or maybe 2-112's?
Try out the Ampeq B200R combo, I bought one ,& love it . It's from their blue diamond series. Solid state with a tube pre-amp, 220 watts, has a 115, You can disconnect the horn also. Sounds like the old B15s, it's 44lbs, has wheels, & an XLR out , so you can go to through the PA if needed. Also it's a very good, & reliable combo amp. There's also Mark Amps, which are also very nice, but also very pricey, & my other personal favorite, is the Fender 250 watt 210 or 115 combo, which I almost bought, but I personally liked the Ampeq the best.

I decided to have spaghetti.OP, so what have found out? any decision yet?
