I had DarkStars in my Guild Starifre II. Overated and expensive in my oppinion. For the money the stock pu's sound just as good.

I recall seeing this first as a prototype put together by one of the Fender CS builders and posted on the FDP forum. The pups are the same as in the Squier Tele bass. Although I hate the colors of the CS model currently for sale, I really like the concept of it.

not my kind of stuff, as someone said, at this price, you are in the fodera and others great luthiers' league.
I love fender, and the CS basses are great, but I'd rather buy a pino pbass and a jazz bass reissue 64 with 6000 $.

Looks like a Fender made T40 at 20X the price. Love Fender, but that's nuts.

I could buy two Wal basses for that much cash.

  12. It's cool, but overpriced by about 4 thousand dollars, IMO.

Hey Tommy, I think it's a great looking bass, too. Maybe we can't afford it, but we can dream, huh? ;)

If I didn't have so many dang projects (PM If you are interested) I'd be saving to make a warmoth or this!

    Atypical, not a typical...
    I would rather spend 6K on a 1964 Jazz...

why buy some new POS when you can have the real deal for the same price...
