Maybe they can get OLP to build it for them and then we can complain about Musicman and Fender knockoffs in the same thread!!!:rollno::eyebrow:

because the "new POS" is most likely higher quality.

I really really wish fender would make a non-CS American Version of this in all those vintage colours. I'd buy it immediately.

That's the funniest part right there.

  14. I agree with all of those who've said that this design has "Squier" written all over it :meh:. Still, the quality in the close-up pic in the OP's link looks to be superb, as you'd hope for $6k :eyebrow:.

Whatever else people say, I think it's great to see something a bit different from the Custom Shop - building P Basses, day in day out, is hardly my idea of "custom" (even if I did buy three myself :D).

Think about what $6,000 can buy you, then take a look at that $6,000 Fender bass.

  17. :p It could probably buy me the neck from your LPB '60s P Bass, if you were feeling generous ;).

Honestly, to me, it looks like something Squier would put out - the finish and PU's and everything...it sure is neat, but dang, that's a lot of money
