(She has no clue what my basses cost.)
Wait, what?!?!?! You're the luckiest man (okay, maybe the luckiest bassist) alive!
The Bar Band Bassman
I hear they’re gonna make a proto version, it’s maple seedlings, copper ore, some aluminum bars and obviously a big plastic white knob!Pull off 2 knobs, put one big giant knob on it, and tell everyone it’s a Joe Dart Signature.
what can I do with it?
Can you not also build a bridge out of stone?
how does it play? It looks like fun but I am not familiar with the brand.
Did you take the back plate off yet? Wondering if there’s a battery or anything special in there? The boss (wife) was hitting yard sales yesterday. She came home with this find to surprise me. Why because it looked good & was $20! (She has no clue what my basses cost.)
Carlos Robelli Short Scale natural finish bass.
Yeah, I know Sam Ash special, my question is what can I do with it?
Go fretless? Mod it? Make a lamp out of it? Let the ideas flow!

You beat me to itThat looks exactly like the Joe Dart bass, which I believe I heard them say was inspired by a Carlo Robelli.

I'd give it a good setup first and keep it for a season to learn its quirks, if any. Then, at least, the young player has a head start knowing what that bass is about.Give it to a kid. Might just change their world.
