Pretty different. The M-Pulse is more smooth and creamy, and the Terror Bass is more edgy and aggressive. You can get more clean headroom out of the M-Pulse, as well.
Thanks Tom... I've been thinking about getting a back-up amp, something smaller/toasterish. I really would like to see mesa build a terror sized bass head.

Yeah, after seeing the Transatlantic guitar head, I started bugging the guys at Boogie to give us bass players a little toaster, too.
But I have to say, this Terror Bass head is pretty frackin' cool!

I was just talking about first impressions from NAMM but can certainly appreciate it if you want more time for an in depth session; have got to think that the weekend must have been sensory overload and a giant blur of details.

First impressions are that they are three very different sounding heads. The B2000 has that "studio monitor" clean, even sound; the SVTPro has some vintage fullness, but fairly clear and balanced on the whole; the Terror Bass has an articulate, slightly edgy, slightly growly, full, warm tone that can get pretty overdriven, if you so desire.
Those are my seat of the pants, non-A/B/C'd off the top of my head comments. I reserve the right to change or amend any of these opinions after further listening.

I'll pass. While I truly do cherish the kind of ideals that you would hope our elected officials would strive to serve, I am relatively sickened by the political process, itself.
I'm hoping that this editor after law thing works out.
I've tried my Terror Bass through a variety of cabs. It sounds great with my Boogie 118, and my Orange SP212. It's more than enough volume wise, and I can get a good variety of tones playing with the tone knobs. It's going to be my main amp playing gigs, probably with the SP212 and an OBC115 at most places.
And most of those riffs are Smiths tunes as well! It sounds awesome for that type of stuff. Thanks so much for posting it!
Mine came last night. Nice and round sound at home. Dirt sounds good too. I'll save further review until it gets gigged thsi weekend. I will comment on the construction- feels top notch and the included gig bag is heavy duty.

I was considering getting one of these to use for my "dirty sound" (i run a blended set-up- 2 amps, one clean, one dirty), but i just need to know first if it would sound good with say an old Marshall Guv'nor run through it, or if it would sound bad. I'm assuming the gain would have to be at a minimum to do that, yea?
Oh, and also, does it have some good crunch to it as well as the possibility of a nice distortion sound? (Again, note that i'll run the Guv'nor through it for my distortion)

Kind of sums it up...my worst job ever was as the point of contact between my County and politicians in Sacramento! WAY worse than doing child abuse investigations - and I "specialized" in investigating the most horrific and/or complex cases.

Does the Orange Terror have enough clean headroom? Or starts overdriving at early stages?
I like the amp a lot but I can't try one beforehand and I'm not sure how loud this amp can be.

It's actually surprisingly louder than expected. Yes, the input gain does overdrive pretty quickly, but the master has a lot of juice. I giged it through a GB 2x10 Uber and it cut like a knife, even clean, with plenty of power to spare. The master was about a third of the way up and I was being told to turn down until it was at about a quarter of the way. I was competing with a very loud Fender DeVille 2x12, which was cranked, and some sort of Mesa rig.
