Feels great. Love the neck and you can really get a lot of different tones out of it. I'm still playing with it but I can tell it's going to be my favorite bass already.
Active with the vintage tone control (VTC) which gives you a passive bass sound if you want it. Knobs are Volume, Pan, Tone/VTC and stacked Treble/Bass.
Woof.
Almost lost my Dad a couple of weeks ago...my cousin damn near died on me too. Throw in an uncertain job situation and I haven't been around.
My apologies. I'll do one last update. I think some of you cats started another thread which is cool. I have had to deal with other priorities...this forum ain't one of them. I tip my hats to the mods who take of all this...it's a lot of work to monitor.

Sorry to hear your life hasn't been a Jamerson groove lately, Redstrand. I'm sure our thoughts are with you.
It's a Fender only one though, so it would exclude many here.

It's a fun bass, and my first even semi- "serious" one (all the ones I have are cheapies), so she'll stay in the collection even if I hit the lottery!
