I just picked up an SX SPB-57 as a backup for my regular MIM---it's in pieces now as it's getting a new nut and the frets leveled and crowned, but when it's back together I'll post a "family pic".
I've got or had a bunch of basses, and many of them have been good basses, but nothing is as comfortable as a P-bass to me. I sold my Jazz Bass and I think I'm going to sell my Guild Pilot too.
If I could find or make a bass that felt like a P and sounded like my Gibson Ripper, then I'd really be set!
