Hundreds of gigs, never have I ever had a battery in my EBMM die on me. It's a myth. Change the battery every year or two...it's really not that difficult.
I play an EBMM sterling, P, and J. J is a distant 3rd for me. Sterling is always my go-to but the P has its moments, of course.
That's because real players rock the StingRay!7 replies so far and they lean Stingray. But the poll has the P handily beating the ray. I guess the silent majority are rocking the split coils!
