View attachment 5045120 View attachment 5045121 I think I may have a P bass addiction. They are all the same but also so different at the same time. Some with rounds some with flats. Pictured: 63 P, 72 P, 71 P, CS 58 heavy relic, CS 59 JM relic, Fullerton 62 reissue P. Anyone else have “too many” of the same model bass? Pics welcome! Cheers!
Shhhh. Don't give him any ideas, otherwise he might get a Tony Franklin fretlessI think I see the problem - you have no green or blue basses!![]()

Incorrect!! They all have the correct guards except the sunburst 72, which has a pre CBS tort guard and the Fullerton which originally had a white guard which is cracked but still in the original tweed case . I replaced that guard with a period correct “pepperoni” Fullerton reissue tort guard. All the other basses are wearing the guard they were born with. Thanks!Weight?
I see a problem with the collection. A couple of them don't have the right pick guard.
That’s a CS ordered spec. It’s on the floor traveler. Amazing bass.Nice!.
What's the story with the bound neck?
Thanks I love that carpet! That carpet really tied the room together dude.
Beautiful bassesI haven’t had a lot of P’s at the same time, but it’s definitely safe to say I’ve had “too many” over the years. Still love em though, and I have another being restored right now! I just find that the fender P is the best option for “plug and play” bass playing whether live or in the studio.

It is a problem deciding. I usually bring a roundwound and a flats P to gigs. The 63 rarely leaves the house. Thanks! Why would you do that? How do you choose one for a gig?
My 1973 Lake Placid Blue P-Bass drinks too much.View attachment 5045120 View attachment 5045121 I think I may have a P bass addiction. They are all the same but also so different at the same time.
