Patch backup / sharing for Zoom pedals: MS60B, MS70CDR, B1on, B1Xon, B3, G5 etc

the 60B is better than a lot of pedals when it comes to the interface, it does a pretty good job, but having more screen to do stuff would be nice. Just wondering if that is possible some day.

Sorry for the late, late reply - somehow this slipped past.

There is enough info to edit an entire patch, but it's a bit convoluted. I have been working on an interface for real time control of Zoom pedals (with interface to ios/android/Mac/PC) and I'm planning small scale production soon. Hello Dario. That pkg file is for a mac. If that's what you have, then in finder, double click to install. If you are running Windows, you need the other download: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] - double click on the downloaded file to install.
When ZoomLib is run, it should detect and read your B1Xon automatically. If it doesn't, make sure no other programs are accessing the midi port. (Also, try a different cable - some are for charging only.)

I only have room on my board for one. I'm okay with the 100BT for now, but I'll keep my eye out for the other ones...

Well, I downloaded the right .exe and after five minutes I had got the backup of all B1Xon.
If I will obtain something of interesting during my next work on the device, I will upload it on the forum.
Another question: is it possible to trasform all the data of a single patch in a .pdf file?
-maybe this is really too much!!- but in my opinion it could be very usefull.

I just discovered what TheVibe on the MS-70CDR can do post distortion in my chain set to Chorus mode, speed and depth pretty low, and Bias full up. Thickens it up, seems like it makes the fundamental more clear. Seems like a pretty dramatic preamp effect that's more than an eq curve. Love it.

I'm not understanding what the Bias does though. The effects list describes TheVibe as "unique", and the Bias control as "Adjusts bias of waveform modulation." 100 sounds pretty much like 0, ~50-60 takes a lot of bass content out, and 75-100 adding a lot of thickness. I'm trusting my ears for what sounds good but I'm still curious to understand what it's supposed to emulate.

Any help is appreciated.

Did anyone ever thought about adding some effects to a zoom pedal? Maybe off topic here but OP seems like the only person who seems to knows some stuff about the workings of these devices.
I was messing around with this because I would like some of the effects that got added to the ms60b in an update to my B1on.
I was able to open the updater exe of both devices using the program Resourcehacker.
I could open the resources in there, and with the build in hex editor i could read the files as loaded by the build in Texas Instruments chip.
All effects seem to be in one file where for each effect you have an entry sort of like this:
some data (probably the effects fourier transform workings) - name and control knobs - TI notice and firmware version

I guess replacing or adding one of these entries might do the trick.
(deliberately not putting any of the file or screenshots here because of copyright)
