Paul Gray form Slipknot found dead

it's good to see that we've got so many accredited psychiatrists and psychologists on this board to assess drug use
what's to assess? it's fun for a little while then it becomes detrimental to your entire life and those around you, then you either get off them or do them until you die. you don't need a degree to know that.

totally ridiculous statement, dude. that's the rantings of a kid who's upset one of his favorite musicians died from drugs.

He will obviously be missed by more than us and his wife.
Jimmy has it spot on with being selfish and leaving an unborn baby behind.
That poor kid is never going to see his daddy or feel his hugs, and hear his voice... kids love that stuff, and he took it all away.
I'll get off my soap box now... this is tragic in more than a few ways.
R.I.P.

actually no

i didn't know his name until maybe 2 years ago and that's just because i started reading bass player on the regular

but thanks webmd.com

keep trying to force your old opinion on us young 'uns

oh and 8 years of medical school would help you assess the human mind/brain seeing how it is extremely sophisticated

what else would you like to say to me in disrespect?

How about a therapist who's an accredited and Licensed Professional Counselor with over 16 years of mental health and substance abuse treatment experience? :rollno:

Sorry, forgot to mention only several clinical supervisions away from Certified Addictions Counselor Diplomate as well.

Now thanks for playing!

Over the past couple of days i've read many touching stories about how slipknot and paul gray touched people lives. He did more than he probably realized. He was an amazing bass player (my favorite lefty bass player) and i love slipknot. I just hope that he will always be remembered and that slipknot can go on. #2 will be missed.

RIP Paul Gray

The other thing is that while there are many successful, brilliant, interesting, creative (etc.) drug users, there are very few drug abusers who can be awarded that acclaim.

Biggest BS ever laid out for using addictive and psychotropic drugs. That's the line used to attract customers. It's the path of destruction, not creativity, IMO.

If you are busy trying to shock your elders, forget it. In that case, the best I can do is have pity for you for trying to convince anyone that using drugs is a good idea.
