I just got a Minx 110, one of the red ones. I think it has an Eminence speaker in it.
It smells like vape, so someone was Juuliating.
I've been cleaning it. Very happy with it and think it sounds great.

I was using a mighty Acoustic B15 practice amp to play along with songs, but wanted something with a little more power, so I got the Minx 110. It's my first Peavey bass amp, but I have had a Fury and some Foundations for a while now. I like them all.
Question for you guys... I know this isn't a busy place, but...
Does anyone know about the Combo 115 series of bass amps? There are several versions, and I'm interested in their respective appearance on the Peavey production timeline.
I'll write them next, but lately they're not all that responsive with tech/etc questions. But I'll try anyway.

Have you tried the Facebook group Peavey CVLT? There's a lot of former dealers and long time users that are very familiar with this kind of question they may be able to help.
Generally, the Teal ones are late 80s/early 90s. The black/silver ones are mid to late 90s. The white panel is late 90s, the red ones early 2000s.
I see combos in here, but no KBs. I started with a KB-300, 15" 3ch@125w, 400w tot @ ~80lbs x huge, Gigged that 1993~2000 or so. Left behind on a cross-country move. On a return trip to clean Mom's house 2013, I had to leave that KB on the sidewalk. Yesterday I bought a $200 bass that came with a KB-100, free. 14". 3ch@65w, 200w tot. 60lbs, smaller by inches each dimension.
Original owner/seller. Wish I talked him down for the elbow grease I've applied and still way freaking more to go. Decontamination is underway in this thread: Cleaning old smelly Combos
Electronics are clean and sound is pure. Apparent downside is the RCA519 70487478 chip is so rare you're best off buying a dead unit and hoping those chips are still good. These old boards are otherwise awesome for the ease of solder repairs and component ID. The other chip, 514A RC4558 is dirt common, so no probs there. All else is resistors, transistors, various styles of capacitors, common pots and such. These days, this could all likely be boiled down to a wallet-sized arduino running off usb but for the input jacks and controls.

No other 'firsts' here have a special designation to them. Flip-side, precedents are set in this manner.
It's no surprise there are no KBs as it's a keyboard amp -that happens to double as a competent mini-PA system and a bass amp and a guitar amp and would likely do a pan flute justice. The KB is just an all-around solid hitter from all reports I've ever read. The multi-channel was a selling point for me. I've never researched amps or combos or heads, so I'm sure I'm missing out on particular bass-specific features to some degree that you lot all have and take as read. All my amps have just come to me by way of coincidence.
I fell into my KB300 as I think I got it free from a keyboard friend that had just gotten a new rig himself. Seeing the KB100 the other day on craigslist with a maple-necked ibanez was too much to pass on. Especially on this the 10yr anniversary of saying goodbye to my 300.

The power for the combos don't add with each channel. The KB100 would have 3 inputs but they all go to the same power amp, which should be 65W @8 Ohms and 100W @4 Ohms (or 4 and 2 Ohms, can't remember right now....)
The KB300 has the same 400B power amp section as the Combo 300, so 210W @4 and 300W @2. Peavey used that same 400B power amp for a lot of different models. I have an old Mark III in pieces under my workbench that has the 400B Rev G power amp that I'll eventually repair/upgrade to Rev H.
Solid amps, I just wish there were more parts available
I have a Mk-III that needed lots of work when I got it. Parts seemed pretty easy to come by, for the guy who fixed it. He's done a lot of my amp work and he's proven himself trustworthy, reliable, so I don't expect any sketchy work from him.
It's mostly items like spider pots and that double diode Peavey used for the overheat protection circuit. They're probably available, I would just have to search. 20 years ago, it was easy to call the Peavey parts department and get everything you needed.
Nowadays it's hard to get a simple answer about much. GK is like that too. Don't know what to think, really.
Thats why my main amp is a Mesa. But then my 2nd is an older Eden and 3rd is a GK....
My first amp is a Fender Bassman 300 Pro, that stays at the "art band" space. But and Eden and a Peavey combo see gig time.
