I also have an AlphaBass head that sounds good but nowhere near the authority of the classic 400
Whew, well... that's a big "never mind"! In beginning my troubleshooting, after a long difficult day of work, I first switched back to another cab, only to find that my issue is with my preferred cab, or some connection therein. This is a relief that it's not my new (to me) amp, but curious as the cab hasn't been through any trauma, yet is now not working. At least this issue should be easier to figure out.
It looks like you need the extra width of an F215 for that Peavey head! I'm sure you wouldn't mind another Greenboy cab in your collection!
It fits perfectly on my '66, but that is a bear to get up the narrow stairway of my apartment. The DuallyT and F212 are easier.
I need to venture out of the S/D thread more...this club is a perfect fit for me.

I'm a big Peavey Fan, and have been for years, I just recently bought a used Nitrobass Head, I play it thru Two 1980ish Peavey 118's. I love the sound I get, but I have been thinking about dropping one of the 118's for a Headliner 210 cab. What are your thoughts?
Huge Peavey fan here. Bought a full stack new in 96. T-Maxx head with a 410TX and a BX 115. I was 16 and had no idea how solid this stuff is. Almost 20 years later and I still use the same stuff. I also have a 118-SUB and I just ordered a Headliner 210. Complimenting this set up at any event might include a SWR 550x head, a BBE383 preamp, a Sansamp BDDI, a Crown XLS 1000 and a Line 6 Bass Pod XT live. Never all at once of course, just various toys to play with tone. But Peavey is always my main bi&$h. Basses are a Peavey Grind 4 BXP NTB with EMG 40DC's and EMQ BQC controller and a Hamer Cruise 2TEK 4 With EMG 40DC and EMG 40J and a EMG BQS controller. I love my stuff. Especially for how inexpensive everything is... relatively speaking. For my PA at home, I have 2 Peavey 15" 1980's monitors that won't quit.

The headliner cabs have mixed reviews. Mine should be in next week. I will post reviews with various configurations. I sold my Ampeg 100W BA-115 and will use the headliner as my portable practice amp/small venue rig or for added volume if it tests well.

Oh yeah!!! Thanks Thundar. I've had this pair of these old 34 year old 118's, for over 20 years. I just had a failure of one of the BW's in the last two weeks. I smoked a voice coil on one of them. No problem though, I have a new basket on the way.
Thanks GTM. I have read some of the reviews on the Headliner 210 cab. I haven't seen one in person yet. I usually play thru two 118 cab's. I have been thinking of deleting one of the 118's for a 210. back in the day I used a peavey 1820, but they are really hard to find now days.
