Peavey Amps Club

Hey, I have an opportunity to aquire a Peavey 810 pro. It's not in my city so trying it would be a few hours drive. Has anyone had any experience with them? I know the specs, but I'm mostly interested in the sound from them. I use a tour 450 and a Gk 800rb as my amps. Thanks in advance!

Just picked this up at a pawn shop. Pots where scratchy. Cleaned them up and works great now. Number please.

There are 2 Peavey Max 700 Bass Amps near me I would like to check out. I would like some feedback about this amp whether good or bad. I've found on TB that it is built like a tank and provides quite a bit of power(relative). A couple of ?s also-
Does it work safely at 2 ohms?
Is this a solid state amp?

If I've sold off my Peavey bass gear do I get banned from the club?

I still have some Peavey guitar gear - two Transformer 112s that I have running in a stereo master/slave configuration and a really great Peavey Generation BXP guitar with built-in acoustic guitar simulation.
