SuperFerrites say so on the cover. I have 1 Foundation with pickups that are the same size (more or less) as the superferrites but blank faced. Sort of like the newer pickups but smaller. They just dont have the beef of my other three. I like the rosewood board on it . Sooooooooo.
Either the rosewood neck is going onto a mahogany body,
or
Nordstrands

I was watching it since it was listed, I've even fantasized about it with a 3 band EQ

Something I really like about this shape is the strap button is at the 11th fret. I like a bass to hang to the right, can't stand having my left arm way out there.

I just picked up a Steinberger Spirit and even headless, having the strap at the 15th fret is no good for me, so it's going back in the Bay.

I put hip shot ultra lite tuners on my 5 strings so they not so neck heavy.

I like your photo shop work:)

I don't like those headless bugers either.

The only bass I have for sale on EBAY is a NOVA bass.

Yeah! I won it at 338.00. Thats alot for a foundation but it is the rather rare foundation 2000. I think they only made for 2 years. As you I'm sure you noticed, it is the same body as the millenniums, except the body is made of poplar rather than basswood like the import millenniums. I havn't seen one on ebay for a while, at least not a 5 string.

The maple boards rule with that poplar body! I like them more than any Fender I ever owned. I do like the marcus miller though.

Booneman, you may have the most expensive Foundation ever :)

I get so confused with all the different models and options Peavey used in the '90's but that was about as close as they come to what I want. If it was a rosewood board I would have gone higher. Enjoy it.

Two Foundations here, a black 4 and a red 5. Best bass value there is, methinks. Also have a black T-40 that I carry for self-defense and a red quilt Fury 5 that I picked up to see if it had the magic tone of the Foundation, but it doesn't really (although it is a beautiful looking instrument). I think those 80's Foundations are a classic.

Also just got a Tour 450 bass head, pretty nice so far. I got tired of the Ampeg crapping out on me.

T-40 for self defense:D thats a good one. I think the T-40 is a different body wood. T-40's are soon to be a collectors item no doubt.

I have had the same problem with ampeg bass amps.
I had a SVT 3 pro that sounded "great" but it broke on me twice in 1 year. I also had a ampeg 350H that didn't sound so great.

Who makes the tour 450?
