Peavey Fury P-bass

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone knows where to buy these Peavey basses? I googled my ass off trying to find a deal for this beauty but no luck. I should note that going to thrift stores or pawn shops is not really an option since I live in country where those are not very popular. Some people recommended Reverb but those listings are mostly only shipping to US areas. The exact model I fell in love with is the 2nd Peavy Fury from 89' that I came across on Reddit about two weeks ago, but the main objective is to get a Fury bass. I would really like to get my hands on one of these. :)

I'm not sure where you live but being that they no longer make these US made Fury basses, classified ads, pawn stores, used section at music stores, garage sales are usually the main places you find these basses. I found mine in of all places a consignment store that sells used furniture, video games and knick-knacks. Didn't expect to find a musical instrument, let alone a Peavey Fury there. So I got a great deal on it including a Peavey hard case.
Great playing P bass style bass.
It might help to know where you live so maybe someone here on TB who lives in your country can point you in the right direction.

That's a beautiful bass man and I'm glad you like it. I've read on TalkBass and other forums how many people appreciate these basses which is making me want it even more.
I live in Zagreb, Croatia. Unfortunately I've never seen any used sections at instruments stores in Zagreb, but maybe I just didn't notice them. I really hope there are some Croats here who could point me in the right direction just as you said. Thanks. :)

The Peavey Fury actually replaced my MIM Fender P bass as my default P bass style bass- I prefer the slimmer neck, lighter weight of the Fury and the neck is really sweet to play on. So yes, I would highly recommend this bass to anyone -it's a very well made bass and often considered sort of a hidden gem considering the prices these usually go for. I don't currently know of one where you live, but hopefully someone else will be able to help you locate one where you live or at least able to ship to you.

I like that Fender in lake placid blue, it's magnificent, but also it's very reassuring that you replaced bass that cool with a Fury.
Slimmer neck is one of the most mentioned features of this bass, I hope I'll get my hands on one of those myself so I can experience that too.
Well, I'll be patient and hope someone has a good solution for me.

It is a 1986 Peavey Foundation & one of Peavey's, finest basses ever made .
Ohh, right, I spoke to @kodiakblair about that model and I wasn't really into it, but now I am slowly starting to consider a Foundation too. I wanted Fury because P-bass has been my dream for some time now (I am using a borrowed custom made jazz bass now) but I do love how J pickups sound. I ought to carefully think about it.

I used to own a Foundation a while back - very nice bass in it's own right but between the two, I really like the Fury. :)
