Peavey MiniMega 1000

Is it possible that the page is down temporarily for revision or some other less than dire reason?

Taking that as a working premise, but realizing that it's hard to say much without any of these in the wild, I was wondering about the build quality of the amp - cramming so much in at a low price point, one wonders - but that's all idle speculation now.

If and when I get my hands on one I'll be sure to report my impressions.

I STILL think this is going to be serious killer in the Class D micro world. The power is looking to be similar to what the new Bugera/Behringer amp provides (that's gotten great reviews), but also has some really sweet additional features that will make this amp a game changer for those using undersized cabs.

Almost like they pulled it down to do a final update to the site for release for the 'final' production version maybe. ;)

Well, as of now, Musician's Friend still shows a June 3 ship date and, indeed, I couldn't find the amp on the Peavey site. As I said, I'm going to let my bet ride a little longer - got a good price and am not going to cancel my order just yet - but not forever.

I might try contacting Peavey to see what's up.

Understood. However, my imagination, and I am likely not alone, is certainly running wild since we have had no "All is well...no problem here" note from our thread contributor from Meridian MS. recently (who has been silent on this thread for about a month and a half now). Particularly with knowing that a handful of wanked off potential Peavey bass amp buyers on the world's most prominent bass players forum might be flaming the piss out of them for pulling the amp off the site with zero explanation while watching reruns of Undercover Boss. I am hoping there is a plausible reason or cause, and that come early June of this year, they will start shipping these out.

I released it to manufacturing like I said I was going to do. It's in their hands now. I'm busy working on other new products that will also probably be shown way too early at NAMM 2016. I quit responding on this thread because I don't have the answer to the main question of WHEN? What else is there to say at this point?

Thanks Bobby, much appreciated. You've done your part, and that is designing one hell of a little amp, if it lives up to what it looks like on paper, and in descriptions. (And preliminary reports are indicating that it does.)

Looking forward to this thing.

And it looks to me like the page is back online... I need to make sure it's not just cached, but... yeah, sure looks like it is.

Well, I have put on a little weight recently, but still... oh, wait, you're not talking about me.

Heavy is relative, but I get the feeling y'all aren't entirely serious. Nine pounds would be hella heavy for a gigbag amp, but for something you can throw in a small shoulder-bag, especially something that can (one hopes) serve as a capable and reliable main amp, I think it'd be about perfect.
