Okay, Just looked up "Genzler Amplification". I was not aware. Will catch up with that thread.

If the Minimega actually comes out in August, it will be out first, but I am interested to see what Mr. Genzler comes out with. And I still hope that our intrepid Mr. Baldwin's efforts see the light of day in a positive way.

i dont care when they come out at all. they'll probably rock (and whenever they do so), i'll totally get one for my orange 810 and blast the stage down. this's one of my dream rigs i shall get. i like the light show. i hope the production models are as cool as the color changing previews. i like shiny, bright stuff btw

We confirmed with Peavey at the Summer NAMM Show that the MiniMega's are actually in production, right now (as in, actually being made!). Hoping to have one in for review as soon as they are available.

So I quit on the MiniMega a few months back. Ordered the new Ashdown Rootmaster 800. In March. Eventually tired of waiting a week back, and picked up an SWR SM-900. Popped a new JJ in the pre, and I'm in love! Massive clean!

Apparently my guitar guy at a local music store...locally owned as well, hadn't checked his email in the past week. I canceled the Ashdown and pulled the trigger on the much heavier SWR. Get a call from the music store...see it come up on the caller ID. I pick the call up..."Hey DD, I'm betting you haven't been looking at your work email?" "Been out the last week." I said, " figures, so my Ashdown Rootmaster 800 just came in?" "Finally man! I was so excited to call you!" "dude...I canceled it."

And then I thought about the fact that I was dumping both original MegaBass heads and wouldn't have a back up...and now I'll have to lug my rack to practice. I'll give a review of the Rootmaster and its 800 watts this weekend.
