Thanks for the post Bobby. It has been a long wait but hopefully this is the start of a happy ending.
One thing I can say for sure is I know now I'm not the only die hard Peavey fan! Look at all the pages of anxious customers waiting for the new amp!

Please anybody once you get one post pictures and maybe a quick and dirty review or sound clip? I too am excited about the amp but can wait as I just bought a new mini head and cab earlier this year....

Being one of the first to order a Minimega from Sweetwater, I thought for sure I would get a call that they were on their way.

I got another update from Sweetwater this morning...If not by Christmas, immediately after. They are definitely in transit, as our kind Peavey expert was nice enough to pass along earlier today.

That's the warehouse in China, where the amps were shipped from to get to the US.

If they've shipped to dealers and it takes SW three weeks or more to get them out, we can focus on something else being wrong.

Not really. The shipping, receiving, inventorying, assigning to orders, confirming pre-orders are still wanted, shipping, and final delivery takes time.

I also have an order place with Sw but haven't heard a word on delivery. My rep promised me a call when they come in.

Hey, I've logged hundreds of gigs on peavey gear and had great tones with it. I want to see them put out a great product again. Its just that something doesnt seem right.

I can confirm we have yet to receive one of the MiniMega heads, although I'm waiting and ready when we do!

Doesn't take that long. The distro center I work for turns around backorders in about 60 minutes - from receiving to shipping, start to finish. Not that difficult to do.

Sweetwater (and many others) can get stuff out the same day. The sku is created, it's already loaded on the site. In/out.

Many of them may not even leave the dock depending on how many orders they have already....
