MF changed their expected ship date from 12/2 to 1/12. Is anybody getting one this week???

I also have an order place with Sw but haven't heard a word on delivery. My rep promised me a call when they come in.

It's starting to look like there's a serious problem with either the product or the company...or both.
Probably not the case, but appearances matter...

I agree. IMO, for the first time I am aware, Peavey has a serious credibility issue. It would be best if they just come clean about what is going on and what they are doing about it. I am sure Bobby Byrd will only tell us what he is allowed in an honest a manner as he can. But unless the company executives get in front of this, they are going to loose a lot of customers for a long time.

The problem is that the company jumped the gun. The amp wasn't near the release stage when they showed it....

That might have been the issue 6 months ago. Now the issue is that they keep moving up the delivery date without explanation.

One of the last things that Bobby posted was that the first shipment of amps had arrived in Meridian and were being tested. That was right before Thanksgiving.

Bobby says the amp are in for testing before distribution. This should take about two weeks IMO. Last week was short due to the holiday. If they discover a problem and the amps can't be released we should be informed. If they're not shipping to consumers by the end of this month I will have lost faith in their ability to ever get this done. After two years of waiting I don't think a couple of weeks is too much to expect.

He also said that the testing was about halfway completed before Thanksgiving. That sure sounds like no significant issues have been detected.....

Come on. To have them in hand for testing and then to still keep bumping the date, obviously something is wrong. peavey should return any money that has been paid out and move on.

The question is, who has actually been bumping the date? I mean, do we really know that?

The first shipment is in our warehouse. Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, we are going to open all the boxes to inspect and play through them before they go out, but it should not take long.
