Nope. Looks like this , this is not it but looks the same. The guy is 2 hours away from me , i am going to see if he would drop th eprice to cover gas or hold it tell i pass through that town in 8 days. Really hoping to grab this one because its sweet and the both it and the case are minty.

I hope its lighter then my old one, i am only 20 but that bass even hurt my back.

Both are beautiful. Honestly...if it's as minty as you think, and he's axeing only $250, I'd be on the road with a CD of driving music. No way hat beauty is still available in 8 days at that price.

Hell, if PDX=PHX, it'd be at my house by now!!:D

Its actually been for sale for 7 days but its in a tiny town , i just dont want to make the extra trip , i hate driving even thought there is about zero traffic in oregon.

Hey, I have a question, what do you use for a truss rod wrench? I know Peavey actually put out a custom wrench just for these, but those are near impossible to find. I have tried a deep socket, but it is to long. Any suggestions?

I've heard tell the Gibson 5/16" wrench will work. I really need to get one and try it out.

I'm looking at a natural/maple T-40 in our local CL. $275 is the asking price with a "beat up" case. I asked for some better pics, but here's what's in the ad:

I'm intrigued.:hmm: What's a reasonable price to bargain down to for one of these?

If the bass itself is in decent shape - $275 is a fair to pretty good price and however much below that you can negotiate down from there is gravy. Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

Hi,

Just bought a white/maple T40 today (Sat).
Do you guys know how I can date it?
Also it seems that the switch selector was replace (only has 2 positions right now), any idea on where I could get a switch close to original?

Thanks
Julo
