I run everything at noon, plug in my p bass and go. I honestly haven't tried any of the suggested settings. Maybe I'll try them out tonight and report back.

Sounds good! I would like to be able to get a good overdriven rock tone, but also do clean and be versatile. I can't seem to find out much on the peavey 810.

Thats a cool recording Bobby, but too much guitar in my opinion!! All I hear is a bunch of overdriven guitars! I want hear that bass by itself dude, we need some reggae/dub recordings of the VB2. That is where I think this amp shines, nothin' but fat tubey gooiness that sits out front by itself.
That is also the context I use it in. So you can hear the instruments seperated a bit more.
