Atheism/theism refers to belief.
Agnosticism and gnosticism refers to knowledge.
A "true atheist", in your definition doesn't believe in, and knows there isn't a god. He is a gnostic atheist. This person claims knowledge.
I am a agnostic atheist. I do not believe there are any gods but that doesn't mean that I know there are no gods. I do not claim knowledge.
A agnostic theist would be a religious person that believes, but doesn't claim to know.
A gnostic theist believes in god and claims to know there is a god.
A gnostic atheist or theist claims knowledge that can't be backed up by demonstrable evidence.

Also, Penn Jillette is awesome. I'd love to see him play electric but I can't find anything on the youtube.

Penn Jillette is, among other things, an atheist and was seen playing a ric. Had he been playing a Gibson, the joke would have been about atheists playing Gibsons, and so on.

He used to play a Gibson - one of the Fender shaped ones with the pointed headstock. He played it during the titles of their UK TV series in the 90s.

I was lucky enough to see P&T at the Rio in Las Vegas on my honeymoon - the opening act was Penn on upright and a heavily tattooed pianist. Both P&T and the pianist all came out to greet everyone after the show, chatting, posing for pics etc. Top geezers all round really!

Gene Simmons is a good bassist.

He really is a good, solid rock bassist. Listen to those first three KISS albums, especially Dressed to Kill. He does some real tasty bass lines on a lot of those songs.

But the other guy is right, Gene is probably more famous for his tongue, dating Cher, spitting blood, and his reality show than playing bass. My mom is 65. She knows who Gene is but probably doesn't know that he plays bass. Same goes for my wife (who is not 65).

This isn't quite a fair comparison. I'd say the vast majority of people in the world don't know who the hell plays bass in what band.
