I still don't get the atheist playing a RIC joke. Anyone care to explain?

I'm really curious what non pro-musician celebrities buy when high cost isn't really a consideration.
They don't advertise for fear of getting their stuff stolen at least the smart ones don't.

I guess it could possibly be a joke - it seems from the heavy disclaimers that it was also apparently controversial as well as funny, but again I'm not entirely sure.
But I don't know what the relation between RICs and atheism is and want to know what I'm missing.
