Pepsi is the greatest drink ever. I can smell the difference between Pepsi and Coke, but the only difference I notice with the throwback is that it's a tad smoother. Other than that, I like the bottles

Pepsi Throwup

This might be a bit sad, but upon hearing that there are a couple places in Texas that stuff use cane sugar, I was tempted to eBay some Dr. Pepper from there.
$30 for 6 bottles.
I mean, I didn't do it...but it was tempting. Still is. So is the thought of Dr. Pepper barbecue sauce.

About that, I saw Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce and A & W RootBeer BBQ Sauce. Above these they had variety Budweiser BBQ sauces. I also picked up another throwback, it is cooling in my fridge.
I wouldn't buy their sauce...but I use a can of DR. Pepper in the pot of BBQ sauce when I grill chicken. Just dunk the chicken in the sauce with the Dr. Pepper just before it's done. Leave on the grill for a few min's...then dunk one more time and serve. Yummy.
As for the new Pepsi product...it's about friggin time! I will support this product as much as I can over the summer in hopes others do the same and they keep it on the market. It's obviously a test product. HFCS is bad. Why is the US the only country that puts in in everything? Try and find a ketchup or BBQ sauce or soda that doesn't use it. Jones soda was marketing real sugar in their product a couple of years ago...I don't know how it turned out....cause I don't see it anymore. But I live on a cow path i the north...and we don't get lots of stuff.
The last time I was in Canada...I checked all the labels on the foods in the grocery store...and I couldn't find HFCS in anything. Is this the reason America is the most obese nation on earth? I believe it is.

It could be that in the US HFCS is a lot cheaper than say sugar. Jones Soda is still sold, though for $5.94 (around here) you can get a 12 pack (cans).
Dunno about regional price differences, but around here they are being sold for $1.00 roughly a piece. About 40-80 cents cheaper than say their HFCS counterparts.
That's what I'm seeing around here too.
Only a couple of stores have Throwback. At those stores, it is $.99. One of them sells regular Pepsi and Dew for $1.29, the other sells it for $1.38.
And I agree on the taste. Pepsi Throwback is a bit smoother, and Dew Throwback doesn't have that chemical aftertaste that regular Dew do.
I want to try some. Im a serious pop drinker. Probably shouldnt be, due to acne and teen life, but I am.
Plus, the cheaper price seems awesome. Im going to look around for it tomorrow after school. I have a jam session and usually get a Sobe Energy. Maybe this is a change in pace.

I switched to Vault when it came out. I don't agree with the "energy drink" label they throw on it, though. But unilke Mountain Dew, it's flavored with real orange juice, not just "natural flavors;" and also doesn't contain brominated vegetable oil (look it up!
) like Dew.
The returnable 16oz bottles... I remember the front of the grocery store had a big area in the front where all the 8 packs were stacked up...
I never have enjoyed Mountain Dew, but I am looking forwad to trying the new Pepsi with real sugar in it. Real sugar is always better-tasting than corn syrup.
But, you know, we get Mexican Pepsi and other sodas, which have real sugar. They cost a little bit more, but they're worth it. Real sugar, bottled in glass. Lovely for a treat!
