"You imbeciles would monopolize the entire stage and bug the hell out of the musicians every time a group would try to play a live show, Bay Area types, Europeans, you name it."
Yeah right, we Europeans don't know how to play or to create Bands. I mean we only had poopy stuff like Sabbath, Floyd, Zeppelin or in the metal scene Meshuggah or Maiden, all smaller bands than Giga(really really)dead... LOL

to be fair, those are all not continental "European".. the Brits tend to fit into their own continent of sorts.. .. Hard to say with you Irish tho ;)

But we do have the Scorpions for example, a stellar example of Continental European Metal / Rock music with talent!

hey gigadeath why does your logo and artwork look like it was made by a 12 year old?

why is your only response when people rip you "LETS SEE IF U CAN DO BETTER" "Show me UR MUSIC"? Do you have any other argument than that? The point is your music is not that good to warrant your craigslist ad. If you get anyone to join that lasts more than a month I'll be shocked.

What job do you have? Your rig is obviously in a basement, is that your parents house?

What trannies do you recommend I check out?

When was the last time you had sex?

Do you play any other style of music besides generic thrash metal?

Do you have any full albums?

Do you have any mental illnesses? If so, I'm sorry and please have a good life (not being sarcastic)

Alright guys. Don Von Johnson has forgiven us (I assume. Seemed that way anyway)
I don't see any need to keep ripping on the guy. He's shown after a lengthy and bloody battle that he's in good spirits, and may in fact have a sense of humor.

I won't deny that I took part in this, but since we've pretty much gotten past all the gore and violent meme'ing, can't we all just get along?

"Wow.........you really are a special grade of ****.

Go back in your hole."

Nice quote mine dude. My last question is all he needs to answer. I have mental problems and I know how hard life is. If he does in fact have mental problems he can disregard my username and my mean questions.

If he's a normal guy he deserves to be punched by that army guy

Ok - game over, me thinks.

Time to stop this thread.

Wow, this is still going(24 pages!!??)..... And no I really don't care that much anymore either, I said my piece about how I don't like musicians being treated bad, which really was what got to me in the 1st place, that got nowhere, I used to know some of the same people he does,so im letting this go, his band, etc, etc... im out of steam now... At least he has some sense of humor

One positive I see in this:

Often times I see these CL ads for musicians and there is a lack of clarity about what the band is really looking for. In this case, had I been reading through the ads myself I would have known within a few seconds that this was not for me. So there would be no more of my time or Baron's wasted on me replying and trying to wade through a muddled set of expectations.

Your world is a lot smaller than you think. Do you think I really care? As I've said, since I posted that ad, my email is full of potentials who would like to work with me.

If that's true, then what's going to be different in the long run. Everyone will piss you off with some issue and you'll have to fire them or they'll get sick of your BS and leave. So then you impose even more dictatorial rules for your next round of CL. Seriously, dial back your delusional narcissism and try to treat people with respect.

True. When I think about all the threads I've read in "Band Management" about people's bad experiences with CL ads, the most common issue by far seems to boil down to the failure of ad-placers to be clear about their criteria. As a result, people audition but don't get the gig because they only find out later that they were too old or too young, or had the wrong kind of equipment, or played with a pick, or drank beer, or didn't drink beer, or whatever. At least anybody who auditions for Gigadead should know exactly what is expected of them.
