Pet-names for you gear?

my friend's '80s kramer p-bass that's covered in knife gouges and has had an endless succession of necks and pickups: "the Bass of Woe" (after the first conan movie where the bad guy has arnold chained to "the Tree of Woe")

my old SVT head: "Christine" (in the book, the evil car gives the guy strength and confidence, but destroys his back from needing to be pushed all the time).

i knew it was possessed when i went to sell it and it started making all kinds of strange noises it had never made before, driving the first buyer away :bawl:

Only named one piece of gear in 30+ years of playing and collecting: a Gibson ES-175TDN

Thinline jazz guitar in Natural maple, named "The Blonde"

After a hot-and-cold relationship that lasted about 10 years, I ended up trading her away for a brunette

Just one, a precision I put together

Ok I gave in...... I keep finding myself referring to my newest bass as "Red". Yep, it's red.
My bass that died (and I've not come to terms with it) was Dory. It has a sticker of Dory from Finding Nemo on it!
I'll have to find a name for my passive bass besides "The bass that keeps ticking me off because it has no sound" I guess.... Hrm..... maybe Whisper? LOL
There's a lot of Blacky's out there......I know 3!!

My '77 Precision has earned the name "Old Faithful". I've got 6 other basses, none of them have names.
I also have a Digitech BP50 processor that I call "the Obbno Box", because most of the 40 presets just sound obnoxious.

Most of mine are beverages:
Ibanez Gary Willis Fretless - Oolong
Tobias Classic (walnut top) - Mocha
Ibanez ATK Blue Moon - Blue Mojito

Zon Sonus Special Fretless - Ceylon Woman
both from Ceylon tea, and the old Nina Simone song (which I first heard as "Ceylon Woman")
"Ceylon woman, dressed in red,
make a man lose his head...
...for $1000 she'll wail and she'll moan..."

My amp and speakers have no names.
I do refer to my dogs as woofers sometimes. Except the small one, who is almost a tweeter.
