As long as everyone in the room shuts their mouths as they eat, I'm having an ok day. When Johnny Jowls decides he needs to emulate a megaphone while cramming down his bucket of Doritos in faux-mayo sauce, I'm not having an ok day.

My favorite ones are the those that put you on hold when you answer, telling you to hold the line for some very important information. I just put down the receiver and walk away.
I hate it when people use the phrase "all but" incorrectly, which is about 90% of the time.
People that use the adjective "rap" to describe "music".......except for RunDMC.....they kick ass.
My biggest peeve is people who don’t wash their hands after using the restroom. There is nothing worse than seeing someone come out of a stall, after leaving a stench that would strip paint off a wall, and walk right out the door. To me it’s utterly repulsive and disrespectful. I see this at my work all the time. Needless to say it’s one of the many reasons I don’t participate in department potlucks…
Promotional pens. I understand that businesses can't spend too much on giveaway stuff, but most of the promo pens I've gotten have been awful. I'm sure there are way too many of these pieces of junk in landfills. Not a good way to represent a business. I'd rather just get your business card.
Pronouncing nuclear "nuke-yuh-ler". Look at the spelling. It's "nuke-lee-ar".
Saying "an historian" or "an historic moment" instead of "a historian" or "a historic moment". People who do this will argue that it's correct, and maybe it is, but I don't care. It's pretentious and annoying. Stop it.
My pet peeve is the slow people that also have this bumper sticker:
I may be slow, but I'm ahead of you!
That just makes it all the more aggravating.
