you need the right cab.
i pair it with an SVT212 and its plenty for me. If you need more watts, pickup a power amp. ive been giggin it for over a month now and havent felt i needed more. I play in a rock 5 piece band.
my back-up amp is an Ashdown ABM 500 (500watts...). I can only make it as loud as my PF50 before i get dirty looks, and it doenst sound nearly as good.
It has 2 DIs for FOH. If you play in a mature band that listens and understands playing dynamics, appropriate stage volumes youll be more than happy with the PF50.
Pull the trigger!!! Check out the portaflex thread about cases for it though. Im selling my V4B because of this amp!
Sort of an adapter... That sounds like a great idea!Yeah as Jimmy said the PF-50T sits on the 210AV OK, but hangs over. Depending on the gig, I'd worry about it getting bumped.
I'm thinking about cutting a piece of plywood the width of the PF-50T, cutting holes for the amp feet and putting feet on the bottom of the plywood to fit the 210AV.
BTW with the PF-50T is it normal to get some 60Hz hum without anything plugged in?
Transformer on the left located above the input, try gently squeezing it in various places with unit on and plugged into cab; if the hum or noise gets better/worse I would see about getting a replacement.
HOT AMPEG NEWS! PF20T, PF50T, PF112HLF
I finally got around to making the PF-50T adapter plate:Sort of an adapter... That sounds like a great idea!
Have to be careful to keep those thumbs if you're not familiar with power tools.Well better than I could do I am all thumbs
Thanks, I was really glad I made it. The stage last night wasn't the most stable, so my rig was rocking a little to the drum beat...Turned out nice!
Good timing on when to make it then! Thanks for taking the time to post pics! Thanks, I was really glad I made it. The stage last night wasn't the most stable, so my rig was rocking a little to the drum beat...
