BigMikeW said:I am definitely leaning toward the Trans Blue Vintage MV5. Plus the pearloid pickguard would look great on it.
BigMikeW said:I have worked with a bunch of Regional acts (bands or artists that had some financial support but never quite made it).
The highlight of my career was spending a year prepping for a tour that would never happen with "Stegosaurus" (on reprise records). I never made any money at it, but thats not why I did it anyway. It was a huge amount of fun, we got to play all the best LA clubs (the whiskey, the viper room) and record execs would take us out to dinner and all that. If you'd like some MP3s I'll mail them to ya. There are copies of the record out there, but they pulled them from shelves to repackage the songwriter as a solo artist (an idea he hated). It was a blast while it lasted.

Having a tough time picking a color. This will be just the first of several over the next 12 months (probably 3 - 4 in that time). What would be a good first one?
Here is a list to choose from:
Option #1: Black/Maple - I would get a black or silver pearloid pickguard to replace the stanard black.

Option #2 - Tobacco Burst/Maple - I would probably get a white pearloid pickguard or maybe tort.

Option #3 - Sonic Blue/Maple

Option #4 and #5 - Trans Red or Trans Blue - Comes with White Pearloid pickguard from Sadowsky

Looking for some honest input on these three.
Thanks in advance.

BigMikeW said:Currently I am working with a female country artist who has a development deal and we will probably be in the studio late this year to pump out some demo stuff. hopefully, she will get signed to a full deal next year.
Thanks for asking.

All the best,

Short one- Early 90's, had a sweet gig with a femaple vocalist who had some moderate success-tours and such. Came back to Detroit when that imploded. Landed a few regional touring gigs-nothing big to speak of, but it was work! The original band I joined (Skeleton Crew-who beat Destiny's Child on Star Search BTW) landed a development deal a few years back and like many others, it didn't flower like we hoped for. And now working with a young female country singer as well with a demo deal out of Nashville that may or may not pan out. Still gigging around Detroit whenever I can.
But these days are spent at my day job (eng. with a small robotics company) to provide for my family. Music just isn't steady like we would hope for now is it?!?!!!
Blah blah blah blah, it's all ball bearrings anyway!
