So, how does one get into the trunk if you need to get something out? More than likely not an issue because putting anything in is an almost equal problem.

Lack of cars with any character is one of the "problems" of the world today.
Hopefully, when electric cars are the largest part of the market , we can get back to road beasts such as these.

Nope, never was found. It was basically a sea foam green kind of color. He was more bummed that all his tools were in the car and they were taken, too.

We had a blue one of those Mercurys with the back window that lowered!
My maternal grandparents had a Rambler.
The father of friends of mine from high school had a T-Bird like that, but in black, IIRC!
An old girlfriend of mine in college had that Cougar, in copper.
My SO's family had one of those Ford station wagons (they needed it with five kids in the family)!
A high school friend of mine had a Lincoln Continental with suicide doors.
The guitarists in two bands of mine back in the late '70s both had Chevelle SSs, a '67, and a '72, but both were manual gearbox cars (the '67 had a Hurst shifter).

When I was a teenager, our next door neighbor had the sister sleeper car to that Dodge Coronet. He had a 1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite Sport with a 383 just like this one.

Back in high schools we all had Mopars (not me, I didn't own a car back then), Coronets, Darts, Dusters, Road Runners, GTX, Satellites, etc.
I have never owned any MOPAR cars even though I liked them. Many of friends owned MOPARS in the 1960s and 1970s. Currently, some of my friends own incredible, classic MOPAR muscle cars such as Superbees, GTXs, Dusters, Challengers, etc. from that era.
I own a Pontiac Firebird but not from that time.
