If wishes were horsepower: I've always loved the look of these but know I'd be disappointed by its wheezy motor and '60s handling. If one is magically appearing in my driveway, I'd like this upgraded restomod version , please. The motor got an upgrade in '66 but it's still not super powerful by any means. According to Wikipedia, the Boomerang concept is a registered road car and last sold for $3.7 mil., about 10 years ago.Gotta share this fascinating steering column/dash combo from the one-off Maserati Boomerang from 1971:

V8 with a For Speed Manual transmission, wow. Quirky design with its slant six version tilted a bit to make way for a sleek hood. They were weird cars for the era but I certainly thought they were the coolest thing ever as a 14 year old. The following year the Mustang was released…..
